It's that time of year again. My mom's group is dedicated to supporting one of our member's and honor her grandmother who is ill with Alzheimer's. This is one of those illnesses that I truly believe we will all be affected by at some point in our lives. Whether it's a grandparent, our own parents, a close friend or even a spouse, this disease is bound to "hit home."
This Saturday we will do our annual walk to support this cause, bring attention to this horrible disease, and raise some money to help researchers find potential cures before it gets one of us.

Best of luck to you, this is a hideous disease, affects 30,000 million people and one so little is known about. It robs people of their dignity.
